Escape

Escape is a game i made with 9 other DePaul students for our senior capstone project. We worked on it for about 6 months and are proud of the result. The game is downloadable on Itch.io to play.

In the game, you play as a child that has to survive the night as you suspect someone might be in your room trying to kill you, but the evidence is small so you try to relax and play your VR game as well. The game shifts between your bedroom and the VR world at the click of a button and the goal is to keep yourself safe in your room while protecting your plants from bugs in the VR game.

For Escape, I created the backgrounds for each world, as well as many of the animations for the interactions the player has in the game. All of these were created in Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
